Opening Recap: Defensive Readiness, Revised Edition

On Saturday, 6 December 2025, Fonderia 20.9 hosted the concluding moment of this year’s Visiting Artist Program (VAP) with Amin Yousefi, selected through the 2025 Open Call.

The presentation marked the culmination of a week-long residency during which the artist developed Defensive Readiness: Revised Edition, a project that revisits an Iranian military training textbook through annotation, reconstruction, and critical visual analysis.

The event offered the public an insight into Yousefi’s editorial process, featuring test prints, mock-ups, and spatial trials carried out throughout the week in close dialogue with the curatorial team.
