Sinestesia, Eleonora Agostini solo exhibition

Supported by the Italian Council program (13th edition, 2024)

Location: ISSP Gallery, Riga

“Sinestesia” establishes a collaboration between Fonderia 20.9, and ISSP, an international organization based in Latvia, with the aims to realize a solo exhibition featuring the work of Italian visual artist Eleonora Agostini. A Study on Waitressing, Agostini's multi-year research focused on everyday life as performance, will be presented through a combination of photography, collage, moving images, and text.

Curated by Fonderia 20.9, the exhibition will be accompanied by a series of events, including a private tour with the artist, a public talk with the artist and curators, and guided visits for local schools, led by ISSP curators. Running from June to July, 2025, at the ISSP Gallery in Riga, the exhibition seeks to explore new perspectives in contemporary photography while fostering cultural exchanges between the two institutions and their respective countries.

The project is supported by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture under the Italian Council program (13th edition, 2024), which aims to promote Italian contemporary art worldwide.
