Happening Soon: Between Memory, Place and Matter

We’re thrilled to announce that Fonderia 20.9 is among the partners of the winning project “Between Memory, Place and Matter”, developed in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Riga and with the support of the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
Awarded to the artist Sara Palmieri, the project explores the identity of place through photography, installation, and interdisciplinary collaboration, and will culminate in a major exhibition at ISSP Gallery in Riga in 2025.
As part of the Italian program, we will host a 4-day residency and public event in Verona from May 7–10, 2025. Alongside Palmieri, in this VAP like program, we’ll welcome invited artists Flaminia Celata, Bärbel Praun, and Claire Laude for an immersive and participatory program of research, artistic exchange, and a final pop-up exhibition in our gallery.
Stay tuned as we share more details soon—see you in Verona!
